u brand but they seemed to be constantly out of stock so I thought I’d try the TOM- big mistake! I could never get the cup to open up properly and it constantly leaked. The silicone was way too flexible, even for my not-super-strong pelvic floor muscles.
The Hello high cervix cup is much firmer so opens easily, the bulb-style handle makes it much easier to twist if need be, and it’s narrower than the TOM so generally easier to insert. No leakage at all!
It’s always hard to know if a cup is going to be right before you try it but I am SO glad I gave this one a go. It’s made my period way less stressful and easier to manage.

Difficult to remove, messy and didn’t do the job at all. Just didn’t work for my body shape I guess.

ver things around and this is so much easier to use than the cups, which rely on suction to stay in place. I also love that this disc doesn’t have any sort of pull tab or string as I have found that putting it in place means I kind of slide it along itself instead of just shoving the whole thing in as one piece. It does fit fairly far inside seeing as how you have to tuck it up behind the pubic bone but I also have had the experience that if I bear down when I’m taking a toilet break, it kind of empties (without becoming dislodged) into the toilet and then when I stand up it repositions and I don’t have to take the whole thing out until I’m home at the end of the day. When I do take it out I have to hook my finger up and over the ridge which is a little bit of a twisty arm thing and can be messy but as long as I’m near a sink it’s ok.

for low cervixes. I’ve worked 10 hour shifts and forgotten about it, swam in it, done body step classes and much more. It’s easy to remove and clean over the toilet or in the shower. Very impressed. Wish they existed 25 years ago when I started getting periods!
