Saalt have simplified period management yet again. This time they have done it with a comfortable, reusable, no-mess menstrual disc. Menstrual discs work differently to cups and don’t rely on suction to stay in place. Rather, they are positioned up behind the pubic bone. This unique design makes them an excellent choice for those who have bladder sensitivities (such as frequent UTI’s), weak pelvic floor muscles, or a low or high cervix. The Saalt disc also has a custom finger notch to help make removal easier and less messy. Purchasing this duo box means you get one of each size Saalt Disc at a more economical price.
Saalt Menstrual Disc Features:
- Comfortable – made from 100% medical grade silicone, this disc is soft and sensationless
- Reusable – lasts for up to 10 years
- Easy removal due to the built-in finger notch and grip lines
- Stays in place by resting under the cervix and behind the pubic bone, without any need for suction
- No-mess period sex – flexible, flat fit design allows for no-mess intimacy. Note: Menstrual discs are not a contraceptive
- No BPA, or latex. Odor free and non-toxic
- High capacity and available in two sizes for a custom fit
- Can be used with IUD’s when worn as directed
- Each Duo Box contains 1 x Small Disc and 1 x Regular Disc, plus 2 x storage pouches (pouch colour varies based on availability)

This product has literally changed my life.
I was bleeding through Tampax special capacity tampons (and the back up pad I was using too (at the same time 🙄)) sometimes within 15-30 minutes. This would happen to me for up to 48 hours per cycle. At least once per cycle I was waking up with, well, different coloured sheets than I’d gone to sleep on!
Really, it was a constant worry for me and so expensive trying to manage that!
I had heard about cups, but not discs and I was actually intimidated by (even the thought of) them. Sometimes it’s hard to make a change when we’re used to the same products for so long.
But, wow. REALLY, WOW. Wow. And wow.
I’ve been using for 2 months now and I would never go back to tampons. The difference is night and day!
I still use a back up pad, but I was inspired to switch to washable pads too. No more landfill now that I trust the alternatives.
It feels really good to know that I’ve found a life changing product and that I’m helping our beautiful earth with less waste also!
In the beginning, I found it a little tricky to fit it correctly and had to try (and try and try again), but the moment I got it into the exact right place I could tell instantly. You can feel when it positions correctly due to the finger-indentation on the rim.
The first time I used it, I did a trial run before my cycle (to get used to it) and I could not get it out! Panic, I surely did.
My body just wouldn’t let it out! But, I found that slowly breathing out and relaxing was the key to success.
If you are considering trying the Saalt disc, please don’t hesitate. Especially if you are a VERY heavy bleeder (such as myself). It will change your life and your confidence regarding your cycle.

Switched to these after no longer being able to use menstrual cups with my super low cervix after giving birth twice. These work perfectly! Very happy that I could switch back to a reusable product.

So far so amazing! They aren’t as scary as they look and if you like the cups but struggle with leakage, the discs are a game changer. My new and only thing I want to use now!

I’d been wanting to switch to menstrual discs from tampons etc. for months and kept forgetting to get around to it. Finally did my research and none of the recommended high-cervix discs were in stock anywhere. So I gave the Saalt cups a go for my first try with discs and I am so beyond blown away! NOT A SINGLE LEAK! I’ve only used the larger of the two pack because it was a perfect fit and I am lucky, it is self-emptying! Due to the fit of course… So so happy with this product. I feel way more secure wearing anything I want and going anywhere than I ever did with tampons and liners.
