Allmatters Menstrual Cup Size Guide:
Size Mini – (For Teens)
Size A – For those who HAVE NOT given birth
Size B – For those who HAVE given birth
How to use the Allmatters Menstrual Cup:
- Fold and insert. The cup unfolds to form a light vacuum keeping it safely in place
- Wear for up to 8 hours. The Allmatters cup cannot be felt when inserted correctly. Go swim, exercise, or whatever you do – hassle-free. It is worth noting that as with all the other cups if you have a particularly heavy flow, you may need to empty the cup more frequently early in your cycle.
- Empty, rinse, repeat. Public toilets are no challenge – just use toilet paper and rinse when you’re back home. Or use wet wipes that are suitable for intimate areas.
How to Clean the Allmatters Cup:
- Boil your menstrual cup. Boil your cup for 5-10 minutes. Make sure you use a deep pot to boil your menstrual cup otherwise you will risk burning or warping your menstrual care device! The cup should not touch the base of the pot. You can place the cup inside a whisk to help reduce the chance of this happening.
- Rubbing Alcohol. Wipe thoroughly or soak your menstrual cup for an hour with rubbing alcohol. (Soaking in hydrogen peroxide 3% will freshen it too.) Pro tip: You can also use a toothpick soaked in rubbing alcohol to clean out your menstrual cup holes. Allow your cup to air dry in the sun completely before use.
- Lemon Juice. Soak your menstrual cup for an hour, or wipe down with lemon juice. Be sure to boil your menstrual cup for a few minutes to get rid of any lemon juice residue before use!
- Spirit Vinegar. Make a solution of half water and half vinegar and soak your menstrual cup for an hour.
- Cleansing wipes, specifically for menstrual cups. Cleansing wipes is an easy option for sanitizing your menstrual cup when you don’t have a chance to rinse it with water.
- Menstrual cup wash. You can use liquid soap that is fragrance-free, oil-free and has a mild to acidic pH (between 3,5 and 5,5). Just be sure it does not contain oils, since they can stick to the cup and create a film that could irritate the body.

Purchased for a friend as a first cup – seems to be a success!

After snipping off the end a bit, fit well

I found the cup a bit thick & difficult to manoeuvre through. It was difficult for me as a first cup user.

No leaks. A little discomfort on removal as it’s quite firm but as a result of the firmness, it opens easily. My cup of choice.

I’m very happy. It is my first cup but from the began I don’t have any problems to put cup in. I can recomend the 7 Fold (Triangle Fold). C-fold is to big for me and with Punch-Down I had a bit of leak .

Comfortable, the size was a bit small so I had harder time removing it, will try the next size up

LOVE this thing! kind of a weird experience at first to be sure and definitely an adventure to figure out the ins and outs of it all. But overall a very comfortable and empowering experience! If you’re thinking about trying it out I would totally recommend, what have you got to loose?

Needed to cut off the stem, other than that no issues at all. Recommend!

Wasn’t for me as it was too short, so I ordered the Lily cup instead, but it was a nice softness, easy to use, and the grips were great on the stem, particularly when I had to grab it from way up high. I ended up giving it to my mum to try and she loves it.

Really easy to use, instructions on where it is suppose to sit in the cervix could be clearer for first time users.

This is my very first cup and I have only used it for one cycle so far. The cup was soft (I couldn’t feel it once inserted) and the grip at the bottom comes in very handy for a high cervix. I did experience some leakage, still not quite sure if it was my heavy flow or the failed insertion or the cup. I have tried both C fold and punch-down fold but the cup didn’t seem to pop open that easily for me.

This is my second attempt at using a cup and my first success. The sizing options are great and if you watch the video, you’ll get it right eventually. It IS tricky and messy at first but then you get the hang of it and it’s amazing.

It was completely opposite of what I was expecting and in contadiction to the review comments. The insertion is very painful and inconvenient. The removal is messy and not at all reasonable. I could never use it in the public toilet or when at work. I followed all the given instructions and since I was very keen on using an environmental friendly product, I tried it a couple of times hopping that I get a hand of it but I just couldn’t use it regularly.

Hi, We are sorry to hear you have had trouble with the Organicup. It is a learning experience, and emptying in a public place may be best once more familiar with the cup. If you are experiencing pain while inserting, it could be that the cup is too big or too firm. Or, you could try placing a little lubricant or coconut oil around the rim of the cup to make insertion easier. If you are still not satisfied with your OrganiCup, you may be entitled to a refund based on the OrganiCup 90 day guarantee. If you would like to know more about this, please do not hesitate to contact us 🙂

I love this so much! I’ve only used pads before but wanted something reusable. While it took awhile to find out what was normal and how it works I’m so happy with the feel (or lack of!) while inserted. It even held up while running and gyming. So happy with my purchase and I can’t stop talking about it to people!!

Struggling to figure out the best use of this for me – trialed but my cycle/flow has meant that so far it’s been unsuccessful. Will probably try again in the future

So happy with it! I had never used a cup before and found it easy and comfortable to use. Also great having an actual measurement of how heavy your flow is.

I am currently finishing my second period with the cup, and it is the first time I use one of these. Before I had only used pads. I am still struggling with it, but I feel is worth it and that I wont be going back to pads. Not using pads feels so refreshing and green! At the beginning putting it on and off was awfully difficult, frustrating and scary. I found it helped reading others experiences to keep me going, also trimming well my nails and put some music on to distract me while doing it. Now it takes me like 4 min to take it off, empty the cup, and put it on again, the first time it took me like 40 min. I was afraid about trimming the tip, thinking that it would be difficult to take out, so I waited until I got a bit more experience and it was alright, since the rings in the bottom of the cup make it quite easy to grip and they don’t get slippery. I didn’t get any leaks but many times I didn’t put it well so it would move down and I could feel it a lot, and it became very uncomfortable. At my second period I still don’t get that part right each time. Yet I have had some small leaks, it is always so little though, and so just using black underwear is enough (that I didn’t care about staining a bit, it never transfered to my pants). I even stopped using liners. I might try a different size but I am happy with the design and the brand (that offers satisfaction guarantee!).

I purchased the larger sized cup since that’s the advice for those who already have kids vaginally.
Pros:
Easy to learn to insert. Had to YouTube on taking out without pain. Once you get the hang of it, it was all pretty easy.
Good capacity. I do have a very heavy flow. The cup could last me 2hrs on my heaviest days. (For reference, I bleed a total of ~110ml)
I like the idea that it doesn’t run out like tampons or pads – No panicking when you realised you don’t have a spare tampon/pad. Just give it a clean and reuse.
Cons:
Despite measuring my cervix height and it hit the second knuckle on my finger, the cup is still too long. It has approximately 1cm outside (I have already cut off all of the stem). Maybe I have weak muscles? I’m not sure. I can push it all in but the moment my finger lets go, it starts to slide out slowly and it’s very uncomfortable.
I’m not sure if I should buy a shorter one from a different brand for fear that it’ll just be the same. And I don’t want to go too small either or I will have to make a toilet run every hour.
