Much like the string on a tampon, the Me Luna Cotton Withdrawal Cord helps make removal of your Me Luna menstrual cup easier. Designed to be tied through the ring of a Me Luna stem cup, this can provide piece of mind to anxious or inexperienced cup users.
Cord length included in this pack is 3m x 1mm diameter.
This product is only suitable for use with the Me Luna range of stem grip cups or other brands of menstrual cup which are designed with a ring stem (such as the FemmyCycle).
To use the withdrawal cord, cut a 25cm piece of cotton and thread it through the ring on the base of your Me Luna cup. Tie the two ends together to prevent it coming out of the ring and then insert as normal.
Please note: The Cotton cord and cup stems are designed to be used as a guide to help locate the base of your menstrual cup. When removing your cup, always push down (bear down) gently with your pelvic floor muscles. Do not just pull the handle of the menstrual cup or the cotton cord. Take hold of the bottom of the cup as soon as you can reach it, break the suction by gently squeezing the base and then remove.
