Size Guide:

To know which cup you need to purchase, you will first need to determine the height of your cervix (https://www.menstrualcupsaustraliaonline.com.au/how-to-check-the-position-of-your-cervix/) You can then use the guide underneath to select the correct size Super Jennie:

Now that you have your approximate measurement:
● If you have a LOW to MEDIUM cervix and/or a light flow = Small size
● If you have a MEDIUM to HIGH cervix and/or a heavy flow = Large size

Although it is said that Bell Shaped cups work best for someone with a low cervix, the Super Jennie has been found to fit and work comfortably for both a low OR high cervix. If you have a very high cervix, you might feel more comfortable with the length that “V” shaped cups offer.

How to use the Super Jennie:

Insertion:

  1. Before inserting or removing your Super Jennie Cup, ALWAYS wash your hands with a mild unscented soap.
  2. Get into a comfortable position either standing, sitting, or squatting.
  3. Moisten the rim of the Super Jennie to help it slide in better. Experiment with different cup folds and find your favourite one.
  4. Hold the folded cup firmly in one hand and use your free hand to gently separate the labia.
  5. Gently insert the Super Jennie into your vagina, directing it at a 45-degree angle towards the tip of your tailbone.
  6. To unfold the cup and create a suction seal, slowly turn it in one complete 360-degree rotation.

Removal:

  1. The Super Jennie should not be worn for more than 8 hours. The number of times you will need to empty it during the day will depend on your level of flow.
  2. Wash your hands and keep your fingernails short.
  3. Find a comfortable position, relax, and use your pelvic floor muscles to gently push the cup downwards.
  4. Use the stem to help you locate the base of the cup. DO NOT pull the cup out by the stem as this may cause pain or risk breaking the stem. Squeeze the base of the cup to release the suction.
  5. Slowly and gently pull the Super Jennie out through the vaginal opening and empty the contents into the toilet.
  6. Rinse and re-insert!

How to Clean the Super Jennie:

Before first use and at the end of your menstrual cycle, it is recommended to sterilise your Super Jennie in a pot of boiling water for 5-10 minutes, or in a microwave cup steriliser.

During your cycle and after emptying your cup, first, rinse in cold water (to help prevent staining). Then wash thoroughly with warm water and a scent and oil-free soap or menstrual cup wash.

This is my favourite cup ever! I’ve tried quite a few other cups but all have leaked after a few hours on my heavy days. The large super jennie is perfect, super comfortable and great quality. Highly recommended!

This is the 3rd high-capacity cup I have tried, and I’ve finally found the perfect one. I really struggled with the Merula XL. It was so firm that it was painful to remove. The Super Jennie is much softer and so much easier to remove, while still accomodating my heavy flow. I pair with period undies on my 2 heaviest days just in case.

I went to a lovely comparison site to find cups that use softer silicone. This is my second super Jennie one small and large. That way I can change cups and it helps keep them fresher and cleaner. I love my cups and have 3 brands now which I use each period.
I’ve tried 3 store bought brands & found that I sometimes experienced some discomfort from the harder silicone. Comparing what size you want and lengths for your cervix depth is really handy.

I love using a cup! Far better than any other period product out there. I wish I had known about it sooner. The super Jennie is excellent for those of us with heavier than average periods.

I have used cups for a while, but needed one that was as large as possible, given I experience especially heavy flows. The super Jennie is the largest one made, and although daunting to look at given its size, its remarkably comfortable and flexible enough that insertion isn’t the drama I thought it would be. Good quality, nicely packaged. Ive used cups for a couple of years now, and my only complaint is that I discovered them so late in life! Takes practice, but well worth learning how to use one.

    Great for heavy flow

Has been great. I will say I have a very heavy flow (I worked out using the cups capacity that I had 300ml+). For the 2 to 3 days of my heaviest flow it was necessary for me to change the cup at around 3 hours during the day and I leaked both nights. Thus I will need to use a secondary measure those nights or awaken in the night to empty. All of this is still an improvement on the crazy ways I was containing my flow before.

Great cup, only thing is with high cervix it is quite a messy job. Would love it if the tail part was a tad longer it’s so hard to grab and still a work in progress. Since day one wore it won’t be going back!

Perfect size, easy to insert & remove. Simple to clean. I’m definitely converted. Can’t believe I have gone this long without a menstrual cup.

Previously I was using Meluna cups and was quite happy, however I started using the copper iud for birth control and found that the capacity on the Meluna cups just wasn’t enough with the heavier periods I am now experiencing. Found the Super Jennie after some searching and it works quite nicely, my only complaint is that it’s a softer silicone that can sometimes be a bit hard to pop into shape when using the origami fold.

Fantastic! I have been using Juju (model 1) for 7 years, recently switched to super Jeanie (small) as it has higher volume (on heavy days I get up to 50 ml in 24hrs). Super Jeanie is a bit softer, making it slightly harder to insert, however I no longer have to empty my cup at work, which is a massive bonus! The super Jeanie is also a bit shorter, which fits me better (I guess a have a lowish cervix). While not an Australian brand, it is TGA approved, which is important to me.
